Yeah, he made such a great impression with all of those big, bad curse words and homophobic insults. He had the perfect opportunity to intelligently knock the typical InfoWars conspiracy nut down a peg, and all he did was run his mouth like some dumbass alpha-male, dude-bro, piece of shit... He made no valid points, asked no thought-provoking questions, and didn't even give the guy a chance to speak. He acted like a child.
...and asking the InfoWars guy what he's doing in "his neighborhood" as if Cambridge belongs to him? Seriously?

I have to agree in that I was expecting more from him, I mean it's not just about who talks the loudest. He could have thrown up a few good quality reasoning instead of being just insulting. Still, it was funny

It's not about reasoning with them. It's not even about changing their mind. It's about putting forth cogent reasoning, and then letting them hang themselves by their own words.
*THEN* uploading it to Youtube to prevent as many young kids as possible from falling for the InfoWars bullshit.
Because once the conspiracy theorist mindset sets in, there is no changing it, and society as a whole suffers.

I have no problem with the guy's behavior. As stated above they hang themselves each and every day with their words, nothing wrong with calling someone an asshole after the fact. It's not like there's really a question about the lack of credibility of the InfoWars guy after he was seen at every single press conference that week yelling "FALSE FLAG.... FALSE FLAG..."

People in real life take Info Wars and Alex Jones seriously. It's only with reasoned criticisms and careful debunking (without resorting to just yelling FAGGOT! ... which can be fun, but....) that we've any chance of convincing young and impressionable minds that they're full of shit.

If the people who take Info Wars seriously were able to be reasoned with, they wouldn't be taking Info Wars seriously in the first place.
Not only do these conspiracy assholes deserve verbal lashings, but if one came into my town spewing some nonsense about how our local children are not really dead, and telling greiving fathers that they didn't lose thier children and are really just lying crisis actors...it would take a lot of restraint to keep from just beating the shit out of them.
