Bondage Goat zombie... not sure what to think

Right, black metal's supposed to be good, wholesome Christian music...

Haha some of it is... although a few black metal bands are satanic and evil and those type of bands are freakin horrible... espicially Dark Funeral and later Darkthrone albums. I tend to avoid them... or accidentally listen to them not knowing that they r evil and throw the CD over to Guadelupe Boulevard.

:Puke: what?! emperor fits in that group dude. same with mayhem, burzum, marduk, the abyss, etc. if it aint about satan, it aint true black metal

So what are you doing in this thread?

Mainly just fucking around. Though I did end up listening to a few of their songs because of the thread, so it's not like I was completely uninterested. Can't say I found them worth listening to, though.

Fair enough, v-gravy.

I just gave Pestapokalypse VI its first listen since I saw Belphegor live back in February. It's definitely better than Bondage Goat Zombie. It's more consistent in quality and style, more melodic, and has a superior number of good songs, my favorite being "Sanctus Perversum".

That said, those two albums are fairly close in my rating. The new album's experimentation is somewhat refreshing, and has some excellent moments surpassing even that of the preceding album. But it's all about consistency.
