Saw it. Shit ruled. Some people freaked out during The Scene, and the woman and I agreed that it wasn't as funny the second time around (we saw it at Comic-con), so it was more the shock value than anything. I think the scene with the kids and the bear was my favorite.
The funny parts were funny, but overall I was very disappointed in how much scripted stuff there was, which then made me doubt a lot of the "real"/fooling people stuff. And the cameraman had to be a character as well, but I don't recall anybody except whatsisface acknowledging him during any scenes.
if people thought they were being filmed as part of a documentary, it would make sense not to acknowledge the cameraman. i didn't really have a problem with the scripted stuff although i didn't find it as funny, the main exception being The Scene.
I just got back from Ye Olde Theatre where this shitz was sold out on two screens. The wife about had a breakdown - she was so looking forward to it. Anyway, bunch of fucking 20 year olds with nothing to do on a Sunday night apparently. Work tomorrow? Not us!! Just History of Art 101 at 10 A.M.!
*grumble grumble*
there was an article on msnbc sympathizing with all the people in the movie as if they were duped into saying craaaazy things they didn't actually believe, then at the end they ominously mentioned lawsuits. go america
