BORIS

you will splooge over Feedbacker, it's very "post-rock"

Akuma No Uta is decent because it contains a sampling of all their sounds, from a bit of drone, to heavier stuff, but mostly focusing on more of their 70s-inspired fuzz rock. It's not one of their greatest though because of this variety, imo.

The essential albums in that list are Feedbacker and Amplifier Worship, the latter a much heavier sludge/noise/drone, but
A M A Z I N G

you'll want to stay away from Absolutego+ unless you enjoy sub-bass rumbling drone.

the answer: buy feedbacker.

All I know about this band is, that they ripped a cover from Nick Drake, looks good.

I still don't own any Boris despite liking what I've heard so far and being well aware of their gift for the monster riff, probably intimidated by both their heaviness (I prefer my stoner in small doses) and their ever-expanding and confusing discography.
And for some good dirty nonsense, here's the original Boris thread: http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202742&highlight=boris
