I have been looking into boris. Can someone explain to me a little about them, sounds wise.

drone/doom, similar to Sunn O))) but with drums. an acquired taste, but I like it.

GREAT band

they have like two drone doom albums, absolutego and another that i forget. the collaborations with merzbow are quite droney too (and good).

pink is their breakthrough album, it's pretty much worship of old japanese psychedelic noise rock bands like High Rise, but its still good. it really varies a lot between albums so youre best to check out individual reviews or something.

their stuff is hard to sift through though. it doesnt help that they released like 8 albums last year.

Just got their collab with Merzbow, they cover I Am The Walrus. Boris fucking rule.

i think they suck personally. if i wanted to hear someone farting through bed sheets, id do it myself and enjoy the smell as well. until such time, i think ill give boris a miss.
