Any other fans of MONKEY! here?

I'm currently resisting the urge to fork out hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the DVDs.... I probably won't last much longer.

Ahh, Monkey and Co What a show!! I watched them again when they replayed episodes on tv here a couple years ago - man they were trippy!

How much are the DVDs, and how many episodes per disc??

Sandy and Pigsy were my faves. I used to rush home from school to see those; BBC2 at 5 or 6pm if my memory serves me right. They rock, I would love to buy the DVD's.

The dvds have 3 episodes each, and there are 12 DVDs! About 30 bucks each.

The first series was excellent, They should have finished the whole series off, Instead of butchering up the second series, By only making certain parts of it.

Monkey is probably the first viewing of a English Dubbed Japanese TV show for most people.

The coolest thing about it is that it was made from an actual chinese legend

It caused the start of my love for Anime ( I'm just not sure whether thats a bad thing or not???)

hah i remember watching the original movie Journey To The West when i was a kid, good stuff
