Boss GT-6

Hello all,
has anyone yet recorded guitar with a gt-6? any problems wuth the sound? i've no experience with the gt-6 and would love to get some hints if necessary...

I had a gt-6 for about a year. Tried recording direct a few times. sounded way too digital and nasty for me. I mainly used it as a preamp/fx in front of a peavey vtm 120 (early jcm800 clone) during that year and it's a pretty powerful machine - although way too many effects for my needs. I sold it and bought a 5150 and a charlie stringer whine-o-wah. Suits me much better.
