Hammond 1590BB is the standard for DIYs and a good number of manufacturers, Google that or buy the Taiwanese ripoffs from http://www.smallbearelec.com/Categories.bok?category=Enclosures and you're set. Small Bear is good for lots of resources, definitely worth a browse.

There are bigger ones, maybe a 1590F or Small Bear's 1790NS would work better for that if it's as big as I'm assuming it needs to be. Small Bear is good for that, but you might be able to find cheaper boxes or proper Hammond enclosures if you look around a bit.

to be honest, i really have no idea how much space i'll need to build a reamp box. i'm pretty damned ignorant when it comes to electronics, but i figured a reamp box would be a good start down the DIY path. i've gotten pretty handy with the soldering iron, so i figure the next step is to actual build some shit...
Well, build the circuit now and figure out how small you can get it later - it's never fun trying to plan around a box you couldn't possibly fit it in if your life depended on it... just ask any woman how that goes.
