Your local SCA barony will most likely will be your best place to ask. I can't remember what they're called right now, though. Google SCA + Kelowna + Barony and it should come up. If not, PM me and I'll figure it out.

I made a set really similar to the simple ones the Inner Bailey sells over the weekend... but then my experiment with leather hardening went somewhat wrong, and now I have 1 bracer that's slightly too small, and a dried up hunk of leather that might fit a child's arm. 
But they're both rock hard!
