Great, great album. The most consistent since Soul Temptation in my opinion. Heavy, doomy, melodic, all in one!!!!

I hate to say it, but no. It doesn't.At least not in my opinion. :( I really hoped for a much better album, and was disappointed.

For some reason, I didn't get into this album at all. As a matter of fact, I haven't heard anything I like from Brainstorm since Liquid Monster. I don't know what the deal is. It could just be me, but I doubt it.

THe album is ok for me too. THe snare drum sound on the first couple of songs is almost St. Angerish....

I'm with Milt. This disc is uninspired and uneventful.

Brainstorm is the Power Metal version of Dark Tranquillity; they simply release an inferior version of their previous disc, slap on new artwork and call it finished. For me, Brainstorm is a band with a number of great songs, but not a single, truly great disc.

I love everything they do, but I have to admit that their last few cds have been a bit "by the numbers". My personal favorite of theirs is "Metus Mortis"....I liked the faster, "Vicious Rumors" groove they used to have. Great band.

Metus Mortis was their last great album

Metus Mortis is a great disc, imo.

Nope it's a miss for me. This band has been on a steady decline since Soul Temptation.

Metus Mortis is my favorite. Even though they could be called a "paint by numbers" band, I still have lots of love for 'em. Btw, Andy's working on another project with Manni Schmidt(sp?) of Rage, Grave Digger fame....

I am a big brainstorm fan. with that said this disc was a low for me. Listened to my friends and i have yet to purchase it. Just did nothing for me. :ill:

Yeah, not a big fan of this. I listened to this twice but nothing grabbed me. Liquid Monster is still my favorite. I love everything off of it but then again it's a special cd for me because it was my first of theirs and actually might very well be my first power metal album I bought come to think of it. This new one though just doesn't grab me at all. Maybe it's the production but I usually can like stuff even if the production is bad.

I like it...gave it a few good spins and will spend more
time digesting it. Some really catchy stuff there. I will
have to pick up some of the older stuff suggested
here. Enjoyed them alot at PP as well!

Didn't mind it as much this last time, but I will say this and I don't know if anyone agrees with me. I find the best two tracks are the two bonus tracks. Does anyone else agree with that or is it just me?
