"I'm working on a list of my ten favorite albums this year, it's tough but I'll force myself to narrow it down soon. I know there will be EXODUS, The Atrocity Exhibition fucking crushes from end to end. Now I've just got to figure out the other nine. In my opinion, there's a lot of great new stuff this year(Skeletonwitch, Evile, latest Municipal Waste, S.S.S.). What are you guys digging from this year that I might have missed? And don't say Skeletonwitch and Evile."

These albums were great, its not all thrash but some have thrash elements. I don't know if you heard them or not but check them out.
2007....
Sodom-The final sign of Evil-(great release of old school thrash).
King Diamond-Give me your soul please(great guitars in the name of Laroque)
Nile-Ithyphallic-(the death solos on this album are killer)
Ensiferum-victory songs(viking thrash)
Divine Heresy-Bleed the 5th(The Terminator meets metal)
Between the Buried and Me-Colors(Masters of Musicianship)
Ackercocke-Antichrist-Death metal with a twist.
Thurisaz-Circadian Rhythm
Enthroned-Tetra Karcist-black metal band, they do black metal solos.
God Dethroned-the toxic touch
Arch Enemy-Rise of the Tyrant

1. Vital Remains: Icons OF Evil
2. Aborted: Slaughter And Apparatus
3. Dew-Scented: Incinerate
4. I: Between Two Worlds
5. Cephalic Carnage: Xenosapien (amazing album, this band's BEST to date)
6. Obituary: Xecutioner's Return (a step up from the last one)
7. Divine Heresy: Bleed The Fifth (album is growing on me like hell....great to have at the gym. Joe Payne and Tim Yeung MAKE this album)
8. Behemoth: Apostasy (these guys couldn't make bad music if they HAD to)
9. Despised Icon: Ills Of Modern Man (nice to see these guys becoming more dm and less deathcore)
10. Malevolent Creation: Doomsday X (probably would be first in line if this were by actual order)
11. (hahahaha) Akercocke: Antichrist
