Went to his Xmas show at the State Theatre in DEtroit last Friday.It was cool as hell, all those Xmas songs arranged in that rock-a-biggy band sound. Plus he still knows his way around a rock n roll 'lectric guitar.

It was sweet, high energy, extremely entertaining. If it comes your way check it out. Awesome time.

Oh man, almost forgot, the show was opened by the Slaptones. Kind of a folk/blues thing, but from Sweden!!! WTF, right? well, they were pretty damn good and just damn pretty. Three sisters and their paw, swedish hotness for christmas...... gotta love it

I have Setzer's live cd (the Setzer orchestra) and it's really good. Like you said, lots of rockabilly and some great solos.

Brian Setzer is one of my favorite guitar players, he kicks fucking ass! I saw Stray Cats live in 2004 and it was excellent!
