Someone go find Anders Nordin and drag him out, teach him all the necessary songs really fast and continue the tour... :P
Other than that, there has to be some Opeth fan who knows how to drum all their songs already and could tour with them!

I was thinking that it would be the first thing I would do if I were in their position, and maybe I would simply change up the setlist a little bit, and maybe play lots of Morningrise/Orchid stuff so that Anders wouldn't have a hard time playing Martin's crazy beats. :)
 
I second this! They could mix up the songs from Orchid and Morningrise and play Blackrose Immortal as an encore! Oh if only it would happen... I really hope Martin's alright though. They should post some official news soon... or hopefully.
 
Wow, I didn't think anyone would agree with me on this. I expected a flamewar (pretty much to be expected in any thread on this lovely forum)!
But it's true, what would YOU do if you were Opeth? I say he's the most logical person, as he has already been a member of the band... and full Morningrise would be orgasmic ;) maybe with In Mist She Was Standing as encore? :P

i've been waiting to see an Opeth heavy set forever :\
the damnation tour was great but it was like torture wanting to see the fucking metal side of them and having missed my only chance (january 2003) because of exams
 
yeah, what lee said. at the moment he's happy and excited like a baby for his cycling project. but who knows, if in return you buy him a ticket to see a.c. milan, he might think about the idea for two seconds... ;)
