Nah Jenna, if we're going to do this, we gotta raise the full amount. I find this all pretty amusing to be honest. I think if we are all at Universal Studios together this will be one of the funniest things ideas ever!
It just shows that one person-small change. Lots of people working together-big change.
Kind of puts a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart seeing people united like this.
Hopefully the whole planet will get it together by December 21, 2012.

I think the Mayans were a few hundred years off in their prediction. After all, they're not around anymore. 'Sides, Nostradamus gives us a couple more centuries than that.

This is not based on simple fortune telling, but based on planetary cycles that exist. 2012 is the end of one cycle, Pisces, and the beginning of a new cycle, Aquarius. The question is what the hell does it mean? In my opinion, it will be the start of the shift towards the 4th dimension. Through what Carl Jung called, The Collective Unconscious, we will lift each other up towards a higher consciousness. The problem is, those on the Darkside of The Force, recognize this, and will simultaneously try and bring us down while we try and bring ourselves up. This may result in mass destruction before peace occurs.

How about we get a few quotes for travel and average them... Or just set a Paypal to $2000 (or a nice round number over what will actually be needed as I have no clue on Trans-Atlantic flight costs), and if we get all that, the extra can go to getting folks into Universal, or a lunch for all, or some other such pleasantries? If we don't get it all, if we can at least get close, it's less that Jenna will have to save for. I just want to start donating dammit!

I think if we need a target number, let's put it at $1000. That's a nice round number.
We did have an idea that for people who live near each other, they could give the money to say Darlene or Aja who could then forward it on to me when the time comes. This saves Paypal fees and for anyone not near them who'd like to donate, then they could paypal it to me. What do you all think??

You are forgetting transferring US dollars to pounds may have a fee. Paypall I think is the best option. It's also the easiest way. Or else we'd all have to send checks to someone, then they would have to cash the checks and wire money to Scotland, or do a direct money transfer and that will have fees and take a lot of time.

Paypal would be fine for people who don't live near each other but Darlene sees Paul, Aja, Sara, Wanda etc all the time at the shows so if they got the money from them, she could just send me a cheque and I could put it into my account. That would waive any fees from their money, plus my mum works in the bank so changing currency would be no problem for me. Anyone else who would like to donate outwith the LA area could just paypal it.

Ok. So its in Jenna's hands. She needs to create her own account and when we pay it will be changed to pounds automatically.
FYI, there is less of a fee if you pay her paypal account with your paypal account. If you have one, you can pay from paypal to paypal and the fees are a lot less for her. It should only take a few minutes to set up.
