Broadband in the UK, who where why?

So i'm moving into a new house in leamington spa in september and i need internet. I seem to remember some guys here know a lot about this so, recommendations?

Is fibre-optic worth it?

Im on virgin media standard 10 Mb speed, ive never had any problems really, its about £25 a month, im sure you could do better if you fished around though, never had experiance with fibre optic, was wondering if it would be worth it myself.

yeah im on virgin for phone telly and broadband.
works great for me.

Steer clear of TalkTalk whatever you do.

I've heard good things about Virgin also.

bbc was shite while i was at uni.....not sure if its improved.

they used to limit the speeds during the day, nightmare to get hold of, loads of shite
