And alot of parts of this song remind me of the music from the video game Doom to.

yeah, four tracks.... just as with the last song it's all 4 through my 6505+ and then tracks 1 & 2 re-amped again through the Krankenstein, both with a bit of ts9. then 57 into the ADL600.

mic'ed a few inches back from the area over the fretboard between where the neck meets the body and the soundhole with my Røde K2... in to ADL600. The low tuning lent itself well to the "big and dark" tone.

no absynth... the only thing used were my Kurzweil K2VXs and the Keyboardist's Korg Triton.... and several Sound FX clips i had in my library.

the main drum verb is Digirack.. i added a Large Hall to the snare on the intro and slow section in the middle of the song which IIRC is that Waves Impulse verb, IR1.
