Brutal and Catchy

I listened to Alienation Mental's album Psychopathicolorspectrum, and I really liked it despite some of the negative comments about it having some Nu Metal influence. So I'm just wondering if there are any other bands or specific albums, that have that sort of catchy aspect of mainstream metal, but none of the gay shit that comes with it. Any kind of extreme metal will do, and please only 2-3 recommendations max, I hate long lists.

You might like Hypocrisy - Catch 22 but I can't vouch for the quality as I have not listened to the whole thing.

Skinless- May be exactly what you're looking for. Played them to a friend of mine recently and he commented on "a really nu-metal riff", which prompted me to point out (whilst gagging slightly), "that it's still pure death metal". More generally, some of my favourite modern death metal, with plenty of catchy riffs. Start with Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead

Aborted- In a similar vein of, for want of a better description, "meaty" sounding death metal to Skinless, also plenty catchy. Get pretty much anything by them.

Decapitated- Pull off the feat of being technical death that you find yourself humming days later. Opinions differ on which albums are better, but at the end of the day they're all good.

Could name quite a few more, but don't have my hard drive with all my music right now, plus you didn't want a huge list.
