Brutal/Slam Death Metal

A lot of bands and people disagree with you on that one, but OK. Pretty much most modern death metal is technical as fuck, but there is some stuff that is just on another level and deserves to be denoted as such.

Suffocation are widely considered one of the first technical death metal bands, and certainly were the first technical brutal death band.

Honestly? Technical Death Metal is an older genre then Slam, lol.

Technical brutal death metal, technical melodic death metal, technical death/thrash, technical whatever.

It's just added on to a genre if the band plays overly technically, imo. There's no particular sound to it...

Could be argued there is no "particular" sound to death metal, really. But whatever, different argument for a different day, as is the one about tech death.

Wasn't sure if it was the EP that was out or a full album, all I know is I want it badly.

Wormed are totally technical, if there are any slam traces in a song, it is few and far between. I ... Haven't had the chance to check out the new release... but I've seen the review on Slam minded.

I actually kinda doubt that album will ever be released. Most albums Inherited Suffering try to release never seem to get released. lol

It's been slam purgatory lately. I'm looking forward to new stuff coming out... but it's been going sooo sloooooow.

Chapters Of Repugnance? My favorite release so far this year! Followed by the new Cerebral Effusion.

Btw all those Sevared Releases I posted recently will be out at MDF and available to purchase online the first week of June. I really hope someone leaks them online before June.. I plan on buying at least 3 of them, but I don't want to wait to hear em' either.
