Agreed. It's nothing ground breaking. And the production/sound of the cd I didn't like all that much.

I didnt mind the new Gorevent at all... Seems like theirs lots of mixed opinions here... The production was pretty good. And its Japanese Slam... Whats NOT to love?!

Well, we can start with how it's essentially just a slight re-working of their first album (which I like for the record) with worse/clippy production.

Human Demise, is one of my favourite slam songs. Pretty good album, though I was right, couldn't top their last album, it was ... un-toppable

Never really heard of "Slam" metal until the other day. Actually, just heard a band called Disfiguring the Goddess which is Slam/Grind/Death metal.

I have never been into anything metal that ends in "Core", but i have been looking for something new, and the sheer intensity of this band along with the crazy low brutal vocals has really peeked my interest.

I bought Putrescent Clitoral Fermentation a few weeks ago and have been listening to that for awhile. Good album, but I noticed some vocal effects on the masturbating with defecated entrails track. It seemed to work on that track, and I am sure it can be poorly used, but I can't help but want to check out some other examples...what are some other good slam bands that use vocal effects?
