RoS and Viraemia are the general style that I was talking about in my OP. Lots of "wank" sweeping and stuff like that. It's interesting to see that kind of stuff with good production.

The Aura is definitely my favourite album of 2011.
You might want to check out my band "Aeons Confer" then (link in sig), we're going to release our debut album in spring 2012. I'm currently recording the bass for it, and it's 100% fretless. I'm no Forest LaPointe though...
