Not really a fan of the band but I know a lot of people here are.

I tried Colors and never got into it besides the awesome bit at the end of Sun of Nothing.

Bits of this sound very similar to Colors. The mix is pretty much perfect for the band I'd say (but Myspace is hard to say), the killer natural drums (awesome snare!) and the tight, lowmiddy bass that just cuts through so awesomely.

As usual I can't stand the heavy bits but the quiet bits do show some great songwriting.

I'm so gonna buy this record woot! Colors isn't really my album either, some bits are really really good but it sounds too much like somebody put some parts into some kind of progressive blender. I still love Alaska, the whole album is really strong. The teaser sounds a little like Alaska meets Colors , and thats good :) Very very cool sound too, i didn't like the drumsound on Colors, sounded to processed to me.

I didn't listen to this band until Colors and I really enjoyed that album. The new album sounds like it will be just as good.

Teaser sounds pretty good, I just still can't get into the vocals. Tommy Rogers has to be one the most one-dimensional vocalists I've ever hear. I know he does the clean singing, and it's pretty decent, but his scream is sooo monotonous. :erk:

Hmm, I heard he wasn't the one who did the cleans... o_O

Nonetheless, I actually love his one-dimensionality. It is what defines BTBAM and separates them from the rest of the progressive bands. I just love it, it wouldn't be the same without his one-dimensional screams :D

I agree 100% bro. I dig his scream a lot. One dimensional, but that is what I like about it.

GUYS THIS IS LIKE THE EPITOMY OF ALL MUSIC EVER WRITTEN THEY ARE SO PROGZ AND SHIT LOL AND OMG THEIR GUITAR SOLOS ARE SO CONSISTENTLY TASTEFUL, BAD-MOUTH THE HOE-DOWN ON COLORS AND WE SHALL KEEL YOU

Couple of those riffs sounded REALLY good, and those clean sectiosn were awesome aswell. Only truly liked couple of songs off Colors, so hopefully I'll like this one better, definitely gonna buy this.
