I'm gonna change my bubes on my mega dual pecks. Any suggestions? I like the evh 5150 III or jsx tone. If I had the money I would buy the evh.

I really wasn't too impressed with the new 5150 III, actually. Maybe it was because that douche from Guitar World doesn't know how to play metal or what a metal setting should sound like and I should try it for myself, but that was the impression I got. The JSX has a really nice versatile sound, but you'll sacrifice pure crunch...but don't they use the same tubes anyway? I'm not huge on tubes...if it works, that's good enough for me. I've got a 6505+ so it's never been a problem for me.
What kind of amp are you using? If I understand correctly, a Mesa Dual Rectifier?
