So i have a new clip with a more refined Superior 2 sound (i hope!)
The song ended up being a little faster than my songs usually are

Its still just rough ideas and very short for the time being, but i dont know when im going to work on it next, so ill share it with you now and update it when i get around to it!
It is called: It's Modular
and you can hear it here:
http://www.myspace.com/iambulb (the second song)
or

enjoy!

Reminds me of Sikth faster songs, awesome writing. I don't dig the snare. It could have a bit more "crack" (or however I can describe what I mean) to it IMHO. But that shouldn't be a problem for you. Otherwise great stuff.

I think the snare is just a wee-bit too loud, especially in the fast parts.... I don't mean loud as in lower the dB's, I think the voicing just doesn't quite fit the fast music...

Great song, Misha!

thanks dudes
yeah i actually agree that the drums are a bit loud (probably got too excited over the drum sound haha) but ill adjust the levels and repost soon
but the snare sound is probably my favorite snare i have gotten thus far haha, i hope that it retains enough of that character when i remix...
didnt take too long to program, its hard to tell because i program drums right after i record the riff which is right after i write it, but that clip took a total of about 2-3 hours to write, record and mix

Sounds badass. I prefer this than your Meshugga-ish stuff (not a huge fan of Meshuggah anyway). I don't dislike the snare personally. I think it sounds well. Your drums sound awesome by the way. SD 2.0 + great programming seem like GOLD.

Not a huge fan of the "djenty" guitar tone though... Think it sounds good for Meshugga-ish stuff only.
