Im currently recording my friend Tosin's solo album (and have been for the past weeks) so its been hard for me to get time to work on my own stuff, i snuck in a little time today to start working on an idea but i dont know when ill be able to develop on it, either way i like where its going and you guys can hear it here:

I actually like this more than a lot of your other stuff. I'm sure i will get bashed for that statement. Its really dumbed down to me and i guess i just like that simple yet catchy stuff. Don't get me wrong your other stuff is just insane playing ability and great composing. This song just has wide open space for some sick ass vocals to do the work and i really like it.

Loved it man, 'Light' is genuinely one of my favourite tracks ever, and I'm not even a huge poly-rhythm fan. I don't suppose there is a thread where you talk about how you get your kick sound is there? Its exactly what I'm aiming for.

I think your kick sound reminds me a bit of the Testament kick on "The Gathering", which is very nice.
