And he wouldn't be the only political figure that thinks that either. When "Chicago", which was filmed in Toronto, got nominated for the Oscars, Chicago's mayor blasted the filmmakers for not shooting the movie in Chicago, stating that Hollywood shouldn't be taking its business "overseas" I know there's some Great Lakes, but since when did they become an ocean, moron?
