Hey guys..Whats up?
Just wondering how you guys buss the drums do you :
Kick drum- 2 tracks (in - out )or (sample - orginal) to a Kick buss
Snare - 2 tracks ( top - bottom) or (sample - orginal ) to a Snare buss
Then send all drum tracks (OH, Room, Toms, Hihats) + Kick buss + snare buss
to a master drum buss ?

It comes down to what you are trying to do with the drums. Usually I have a bus specifically for anything that I will be using apTrigga on, typically kick and snare only, but occasionally toms as well. After that it can go a couple of ways, depending on what I'm trying to do or what I need to do. 1) Send all of the drums (and busses for triggering) to a single drum bus, and run some compression on them, 2) send all of the kick and snare tracks to a bus, compress those, and then send that bus to a drum bus along with the toms and OH's and any other drum tracks, 3) sometimes no drum bus at all.

Each project requires different routing, it never works exactly the same for each individual project.

Kick (Mainly so the kick fader is next to the other drum busses for convenience)
Snare
Toms
Overheads
Drums

I used to bus Kick, snare and toms to a bus and com them but now I tend to just use parallel compression on the drum bus as a whole.
