Hi guys, good to be back after 3 years or something stupid like that. I've been playing a lot more recently after a bit of a hiatus and I'm looking to streamline my gear. The thing that I'm struggling with the most is the question of speaker cabs. Its definitely easier to compare amps than cab/speaker combinations, so it would help to get some thoughts/experiences to help me reduce the number of things to try out.

I've currently got:
- A Fender-era Sunn 412 ( :) ) - slightly oversize - loaded with G12T75s ( :err: )
- A mesa rectifier 212 with vintage 30s.

The goals are to have:
- No more than two cabinets
- A cabinet suitable for good clean tones
- A cabinet suitable for the heaviest of metals
- A cabinet that will sound good for crazy sunn model T doom style stuff like this (I've been considering Eminence Swamp Thangs, EV12Ls, G12K100s, G12Hs, and Fane Medusas for this).

I don't really like G12T75s for heavy stuff, though they do seem to sound better with the model T than the v30s do, and the cleans are nice.

Amps I use:
-Earforce One
-Vintage Sunn model T
-Fender Silverface Twin Reverb
-Marshall 2555 (silver jubilee) clone
Hoping to pick up a diezel herbert or something within the next year.
