hey guys quick question....i have a pair of 1m monster studiolink unbalanced cables...i was wondering if i can use those to plug into monitors or if i have to buy a set of balanced...thanks in advance

Should be find with unbalanced cables to be honest. I'm using unbalanced cables for my monitoring with no problems.
thanks dude i figured it would be but was wondering if there was an advantage to using balanced....didnt really wanna not use those cables since theyre not cheap to begin with....anyone else with experience with this?

The only real advantage to balanced cables is less noise due to them having better rejection of interference. But with the short cable runs you're likely to be using in your monitoring setup, and the fact that the ambient noise in your room is going to be much louder than any noise in your system cabling its unlikely that you're going to notice any difference by changing to balanced cables.
