BYZANTINE, ATTACKER and former ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano have been confirmed for the second annual Brooklyn Metalfest, set to take place Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23 at the Hook in Brooklyn, New York. The first band will hit the stage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and at 12 noon on Saturday. Admission will be $15 dollars for single-day tickets and $20 for two-day passes. There will also be a free BBQ for all paid admissions (free food only). Other bands that are scheduled to appear include former MANOWAR/DICTATORS guitarist Ross The Boss, SEVEN WITCHES, BRAND NEW SIN, MAGUS BEAST, CONSTRICTED, ZANDELLE, OVERLORDE, SKULLSHIFTER, VICTIM OF PAIN, TWILIGHT ODYSSEY, BORGO PASS, DEVILS ISLAND, CASTROFATE, ILLUSION OF FATE, DISBELIEVER, CHICAGO TYPEWRITER, AUDIBLE THOUGHT and ELOQUOR.

First reaction to this was "YES, I MAY ONCE AGAIN FLY THE ANTHRAX FLAG. Having 1 of the 2 members back that formed the best Anthrax line up gave me hope thet the best metal frontman of all time would be back as well.
But now it just seems like bullshit. The same bullshit that has been going on for over 2 years!

I like Dan too, but we all knew he was out a while ago. I'm glad to hear that they have a guitarist, especially one as good as Rob!
This is one step closer to them releasing a new album and touring again!
