California Metalfest show

I was at a Dragonlord show last year with about 20 people in the audience, $8 ticket. They were $112 for the gig:

Jason Newsted was a member of Flotsam and got tons of great press in the day, they have more of a thrash fan buzz than Testy. Jason makes more in royalty checks in one week that Testy makes on an entire tour, nobody in Testy played on the Black Album (31 Million Copies sold worldwide) huge difference.

Flotsam got $2500
Testy got $1200

Ask the promoter, I did.

Newstead was in flotsam for one album 20 years ago that buzz didn't last till now, he has never done one thing for them.He's more interesred in gay shit like echo brain and supernova, newstead is a joke he left flotz a very creative band where he had alot of creative input to someone else's band where he couldn't write shit and after 14 years still didn't have their respect.He is also a crappy joke of a bass player. I love flotsam but there is noway they got more then testament.why are you so hung up on money?.Who the fuck cares money doesn't make the band it makes the commercial.we are talking about art and integrity and just plain musical ability and your talking about nannys and jets and money,and seeing as how this is metal and metal is about the above mentioned by me I win.Testament is perfectly capable of selling out and making commercial music they choose not to.You don't see testament in group therapy crying and checking to see if their stuff meets the aproval of the producer ,hetfield is such a douch he missed his kids birthday to go to russia to kill some poor bear just so he could fell better about himself.Of course the blaack album sold well the establishment love's when a good metal band gets tamed and panders to them.

Did anyone get a chance to meet Testament after the show? I wanted to, but it was midnight and I was tired, I didn't want to wait around for another hour.
