I would like to recommend CAMEL to those who haven't heard 'em yet, specifically the "Mirage" CD. It's quite clear from this album why Mikael Åkerfeldt in OPETH calls Camel an important source of inspiration. Also look out for a Bal-Sagoth melody on this Camel album ;)

i got into the mfrom opeth but i dont like opeth any more but camel are still pretty good because theyre better than opeth as is pretty much every band opeth is influenced by tbh

no man they're a canturbury prog band from the 70s with lots of flutes and synths and shit. and their best albums are the snow goose and mirage like a bunch of people have said alreay. their other albums aren't to hot, imo, but i don't really like the pretty-twee british prog they play so whatevar
