It's called "Madgod's Blessing". Kind of inspired by Sheogeroth, kind of not. Wanted to keep it short. Lyrics and vocals were done on the spot.

I also sang on Reason.

Harsh criticism is welcomed.

Tune the instruments so they are in tune with one another, and stop trying to be WD!

Other then that I dig the melody and how its harmonized ... its very American Indian meets the Celts

Then play it in the correct key and it would be 10X better ... its not in "disharmony" its out of tune. There is a difference

Tin whistles can be tuned, but it's a lot of work on cheap ones with the head glued/pressed on.

It would be easier to just tune the guitar to the flute then adjust the tuning of all the instruments in the DAW after the fact

Yeah, I agree with what everyone else mentioned. Try to find a way to get the guitar and whistle in tune. Overall the song is cool but the fact that the music is out is killin it.

I say just tune the guitars down maybe a quarter of a step and your good. Other than that is sounds good.

I can't imagine it's that hard. I mean, just turn your amp on full blast, mic it, crank up your pick ups and lean your guitar against the amp while your DAW records it.

The tin whistle I used is a mellow D, I was in standard guitar with the chords being E, C, E, Am. (Might be Em I can't remember my chord names)

Would changing my guitar tuning help?

Mellow D would be D flat (I think), so I should tune my guitar down one half step and redo it.

Thanks guys. I will have this song fixed sometime this week when I can borrow an acoustic guitar. That clean electric tone sounded like shit anyway.

No, your whistle is out of key, you need to bring the guitar in tune with it (or tune the whistle), bringing it down a half step will still be out of key with each other.

Yeah, I just tried half step and it was awful. I will try a quarter step next. Never tuned my guitar that way but I think I can figure it out.

Edit-Christ, this isn't working. Hmmm. Perhaps I should throw the song out. If only the guitar wasn't messing me up. I'll pay someone if they're interested in doing the acoustic guitar parts, I still have the separate tracks. You could even change the guitar chords entirely for all I care. I have like...$20 I can mail.

Play a D on your pan flute and tune your low E string to that note with your ear. Then tune the guitar using the finger on the 5th fret method the rest of the way ... now they should be in tune.
