Any thoughts as everything sitting together?

Before I mix it further, just a sample of something.
Only my 2nd attempt ever.

Only eq cuts.
Nothing else.

Yea I've already started over, but what frequencies are too high to you?
I feel like the lows on the drums mix a little weird with the midst but eh. I moved past this song alr3ady lol

I agree, there are high frequencies that need to be cut. It makes the mix sound pretty brittle (tiny).

Is this better. Again not mixing til I at least get eq right.. normally don't record heavier stuff. Only tried a few times
