i was in the virgin megastore last week and saw they had a book out and picked it up to look and saw that it contained lots and lots of nudity and i felt like i was a teenager sneaking a peak at a nudie magazine in a bookstore so i put it down because at my age it seemed mostly embarassing.

it's a website with soft porn of tattooed and pierced girls, catering to a hipster-punk aesthetic, and thus wrapping itself in some somewhat feminist (and kind of false) trappings. no different than how babysitter porn plays to middle-aged dads.

one of my friends is roommates with one of the girls on the site. they pay okay. and there's some cachet associated with it, currently, that's not the same as most porn sites. so, you have that.

Not only porn though, they have a bunch of really great interviews with actors, authors, musicians, etc. It's a community of like-minded hipsters. Who happen to like naked goth-sluts.

i think that people who complain seriously about "exploitation of the female body" aren't actual feminists nowadays. they seem to have gender-equality attitudes similar to 1950s males.
