Hey whats up guys!

So I must say I'm starting to like SD3 more than when I initially installed it.
After going through some stuff here and there, I stumbled onto the "Djent Style" preset.
It doesnt sound very "polished" or "clean" but I do like how its almost "dirty" sounding
"clicky" and "agressive" -- just how death metal should be! Keep in mind though, although
its not polished sounding, it doesnt sound "natural" and "organic" either.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think!

it does indeed sound nice man no doubt, but in general you know that something is not
right if you have to layer 4+ kicks to make it sound any decent, just my 2c.

btw. the "Djent Style" was the only preset i thought sounded nice to begin with

Hey Fixxxer, appreciate the feedback!
Yeah I agree Djent Style is one of the few presets that sound good on there..
Although I personally don't see anything wrong with layering many kicks to get one sound (which is what
most commercial productions do anyways) after I read your post, I actually challenged myself to make a
preset within superior drummer without using any of my own samples-- just their stock sounds to
get a metal sounding kit. I did manage to get somewhere with it and it sounds decent. I'll post some
links to that soon! Thanks!

Yeah, I was messing around with using Slate Drums and Getgood Drums with SD3,
was able to made something interesting sounding, I'll post links to that sometime soon.

Also, lucky for you, you dont have to wait too long for my superior drummer 3 only preset ---
thanks!
