Canadian Metal

Never heard of that band are they any good?
it's not a band, the band is called 'Wolven Ancestry'

What is it that everyone enjoys so much about Wolven Ancestry?
I think it sounds highly unoriginal, that the riffs are boring, and that the vocals are both bad and impossible to "decode".
Do enlighten me...

I disagree on that but then again I'm not really into the whole black metal scene. I think the vocal are just quite good, not sure why I like em so much, maybe cuz I don't listen to much black metal and it's just inspired by nature, that's why I like the cd as a whole.

Anyone know where to find Wolven Ancestry's "The Wrath Of Gaia"? I tried amazon and no luck there...

no idea, I got the illegal version but I'd buy the legal version if I find it.

@Necuratu,
Man,you are the best.Everytime you give an awesome list of bands & you have yet to disappoint me.You,man, have the best taste in metal of the people I know & your taste matches with mine also.

And for me I only listen to these bands from canada-
Martyr(tech death)
Unexpect(avant-grade)

I came across this thread and realized that a few people were confused about how to obtain a copy of our album, "The Wrath of Gaia." We just received a new batch of 500 pressed copies, complete with lyrics booklet and some new artwork.
Message us on myspace or email wolvenancestry@hotmail.com. We even recently got a paypal account to make things easier and more secure on you guys!

Thanks for all the support!

Canada puts out tons of great metal, most of it mentioned,

Cryptopsy, Augury, Gorguts, Unexpect, Blasphemy etc.

Personal favourites though are Woods of Ypres and Annihilator.

Recently Beneath The Massacre have caught my attention as well, great Tech Death band.
