It's cool that there is a San Francisco date. I'm seriously considering placing the latest record in my #1 spot for the year (when we start posting those top ten lists!) I'll be checking this out for sure. Slim's is a good venue, though I can't help but wonder just how many people will go see these guys. SF has a good metal community, but I just don't know. Legends they are for sure, but they are a little more obscure than some. Celtic Frost drew a good crowd though. There is a strong Latino metal community here...I expect to see alot of those guys there...they are basically, single-handedly keeping the SF classic metal scene alive.

I couldn't tell you the last time I hear a Candlemass record. I remember buying a couple of their cassettes back when they were on Enigma Records in the USA... I just found the record...
here it is...

The place they are playing in Portland hold about 500 people, which is about right. They don't have much of a following around here.

You have to go Reuben, even if it is for me. I'll sell my soul for the chance of listening to them live.

Forget about the mood, just go, scream for me, get some pics and report back :D

They have added more dates:
May 31 - Santa Ana, CA @ Galaxy Theater:kickass:
June 1 - West Hollywood, CA @ Whisky a Go Go:kickass:
June 6 - Houston, TX @ Scout Bar
June 7 - Fort Worth, TX @ Ridglea Theater

I'll be at both So. Cal. shows for certain, there's no chance in hell I'd miss them
