The Bleeding, Bloodthirst, Eaten Back To Life, The Wretched Spawn, and Kill are all excellent albums, and essentials from Cannibal Corpse.

I'd say Kill is essential for fans of the 'new' Cannibal Corpse with George Fisher. Of which I am one.

Gallery of Suicide is also an excellent album, as is Gore Obsessed.

Well, I don't think I've heard enough of the Fisher-era stuff to really say whether or not Kill is worth the money. I need to pick up Vile before I make this decision.

Gallery of Suicide is fucking terrible. There are maybe 3 good songs on the album. Everything else about that album is terrible. I sold that shit when I purged part of my CD collection of shit I hardly listened to anymore.

Kill is better than Vile IMO.

It's also catchier but still good.

Stand out tracks on Kill:

Death Walking Terror
Infinite Misery (Instrumental) - simple sounding yet awesome.
Make Them Suffer
Time To Kill Is Now

The others are good too.

Only tracks on Vile I could get into were Devoured By Vermin and Bloodlands. I think I will give it a closer listen though.

Tomb of the Mutilated. All of the Fisher era albums aren't as good, except for Kill which is more like the Barnes albums. All of the Fisher era albums (except Kill) have been technical wanking, without much groove at all. Kill changed that, possibly due to Jack Owen leaving and Pat O'Brien having more creative control, or maybe Erik Rutan had something to do with it, I don't know. Either way, Kill is the best Fisher album.

By the way, which vocalist do you prefer for Cannibal Corpse? Chris Barnes or George Fisher? I think Fisher does a way better job.
