Cannot change / decrease buffer length in my scarlet 2i2...please help !

Hello from Greece,

I have a main problem with my 2i2 scarlet audio card. I cannot change its buffer size / length. It is always set in 10 ms...and cannot decrease it in any way. I have tried it with my DAW ( cubase 6 ) COMPLETELY closed with no sucess.

I have tried it from DAW panel and from focurite panel with no sucess too. I have the latest drivers and my operating system is win 7 64 ultimate.

Please let me know what can i do for this in order to fix it.

Try ASIO4ALL drivers.

You can not change latency in interface panel at all or can change, but it not works?
Problem can arise because something in OS using your card if it set as default system audio device, set you built in audio as default not professional interface.
In ASIO4ALL channels used by another processes can be unavailable at all.

i can change it .. but when i close the tab it is set again in 10 ms

any suggestions ?

Try to set your internal audio as default system device, maybe reboot your PC, and check again.

ASIOGuard? I read somewhere about it, maybe gearslutz. Here's steinberg's info on it:

Maybe play with that setting and see if it helps.
