I'm saving up for a Carvin bass this summer. What are your thoughts on the brand? I'm still researching the stuff. I want to get a 6-string bass with the piezos.

Dude keep your eye on E@#$ they always have Killer custom 6 strings on there for sale i purchased mine a walnut with maple Rock neck for under 600.00...good luck...send me a photo someday!!!

Carvin kicks ass man, I bought my DC-127 a couple years ago and it's the best guitar I've ever owned in every way. Superior craftsmanship, excellent feel and playability. You can't go wrong.

They don't have the best resale value because they are semi-custom instruments, which is why they end up on eBay so cheap. Some people don't like the pick-ups and electronics they use, so they replace them with other brands. The finishes are some of the best I have seen.
