Same over here, hardly anyone's heard of Katatonia. I introduced it to my girlfriend though, and she's really into metal and dark music as it is, so she's starting to love it.
So I was a newbie when I went shopping for my first (and only, so far. crappy country.) katatonia album, and I said the name of the band, and I didn't really know a lot of the album titles, so I just asked the girl to list the ones she had. Because she had like 7 albums in there, and I just asked her if she had a list. She did. When I looked at it, I was like "Uh, it's spelled with a K."
And she was like "Oh, you mean the hardcore band?"
Jesus. Do I look like I listen to goddamn britney and other pop music?
So she had LFDGD. Too bad this city sucks and that's the only Katatonia album I've been able to find here.
