I really like Cathedral.

I can think of only two reasons:

a) You don't know Cathedral
b) You don't like them

Which and why?

I'm guessing because people on metal forums are more into power metal or extreme fast over digitalized produced extreme music. I'm not stereotyping because a lot of people here like doom, but if you go to doom metal boards you would probably notice more people into cathedral.

On metal forums I notice a lot of people into newer death metal acts. Cathedral probably resemble the flow of maple syrup down a tree to a lot of metalheads.

Endtyme sucked imo, the new cathedral on the other hand is great and has the epic 27 minute song the garden.

Ok i picked up the serpents gold the other day, after having a fairly decent listen to it a few songs have definately clicked with me. I reckon ill get carnival bizzare soon now as well, as the serpents gold has 3 songs of that cd and i like all of them

Terra Firma formed in 96 so they would sound like cathedral or be influenced.
