Celestion comparison: G12-50GL, G12H-30, G12M-65, G12T-75, V

REALLY diggin the G12H-30 man, sounds awesome!

All tones are great btw, but that one has a really nice smoothness to it!

Exactly what I wanted to hear! Thanks for the comparison! Is the V30 one of the Mesa V30's or is it a standard Chinese V30?

Great comparison!
all of them could be usable in a mix
thanks a lot for making the video ;)

It's a Mesa V30, but I plan on comparing the difference between a standard and a 'mesa' one pretty soon. (I own a framus cab too with V30s)

Fantastic guitar tones! Top notch. :headbang:

I like the V30 the most followed by the T-75. The T-75 sits so nicely in the mix rather than dominating it. Same EQ on the V30 and T-75 Tracks?
G12H-30 is smooth but it has a bloated upper mid nasal tone.

Nice comparison.

Love all of them except for the T75 to be honest! Great tone!

This has just increased my GAS for the 5153 mini. Are you using a tubescreamer before the amp?

Nice comparison!

Some part of me still loves what the G12-T75 does for mixes. Hollows out the mids, and leaves a ton of room while making the guitars sound very mean and scooped. Really have to load up a decent cab with them and keep it around for the right projects.

Anyone notice how between the switch from the Lynchback to G12H-30 you can hear the gain increase due to the extra speaker break-up? Pretty cool. Gauging the guitar tone in a vacuum for this test I'd say the G12M-65 'sounds best' to me. Seems I like the headroom in the higher rated speakers - might be a time to switch it up from V30s.

Thanks for the shootout. I'm not sure I really have a favorite, or even a preference. They all sounded fine. I will say the "Creamback" sounded like it had a slight resonance to it I didn't like compared to the prior two, but on a second listen I didn't really notice it.

Hmmm, sweet test man. Thanks.

For me, it was:
Lynchback > V30 > Creamback > G12H-30 > G12T-75

I keep changing my mind though. I imagine they're all pretty workable though if you know how to work a mic position.

Liked the V30 and T75 the least lol But I am a G12h30 whore  I have one in my cab and it sounds great anywhere I point the mic to. The others also sound awesome.

That'd be cool! I just got some V30's loaded in my Marshall cab which I'm digging. Think I would've dug some Mesa V30's more, though.

T75's fit awesome in a mix without too much eq. The problem here is that they sound not that good in a OS cab (they become way more hollow). They still sound awesome in a marshall cab.
