I have a chance to grab a Marshall 4x12 1982A cab for relatively cheap. It comes equipped with a quartet of Celestion G12-80's 8 Ohms. The only info i could get was that they do not sound like the new Classic Lead 80's, they where only made for 2 years thus making them rare today, and that they have a more mids than the G12T-75's making them sort of more flat than scooped, with a bit more low end.
Anyone have experience with them under a mic? Any clips perhaps?
