I am thinking about buying some new cabs down the roa...to have more versatility between my other guitar player never having anything good to use and having the option of leaving a set between different practice spaces if needed. I have Carvin Legacys now, but regret buying a straight/slant pair...was looking at the new Legacy II cabs, but noticed there are different speakers. Original Legacy's have V30's, the new ones have "G12 Vintage 30's" according to the page. So...is there a big enough 'one sucks, the other doesn't' contrast between the two, or are they just two subtley different flavors that are both favorable?
