Actually, Jen, Sara, and Jojo probably sound perfectly fine by themselves. Maybe one day I will get to see one of these acoustic sets...
I still want to hear the acoustic Maiden song on the upcoming album!!!

Just got back from the club~relaxing and enjoying a Guinness Draught~you know, the one with that widget thing that injects CO2 into the bottle after you open it~so....that was fun tonight! Red Shirt cracked me up~he brought a bar stool up to the front of the stage to kick it with us while we played~like I was playing in my living room! Eddie was spinning tunes inbetween bands (minority and c.o.i. kicked ass), I carried my equipment in one hand, and I don't have a bang over! Oh yeah, and then to top it off JoJo gave me a bag of picks that Dunlop sent us...what a trippy cool night. Thanks Jen and Club Inferno for having us!
I did get to hear the girls practicing before the gig in the next room, so I caught a taste of what was happening. It was pretty cool!
I never heard maiden done accousticallly until last night. I think the real maiden would have been truely impressed. I know I was. Sara & Jen said they were very nervous, but I tell you that I never saw a hint of nervousness. Jen's voice sounded so smooth, soft, and flawless. A ladies touch that Bruce just can't do. Let's hope the ladies perform some more accoustic tunes.

Remember when Bruce wanted to do an Acoustic album, right after the Powerslave tour... and they thought he was batty? I would have loved to hear that... maybe we should spam Kevin Shirley with links to the acoustic tracks the girls have on the main site???

Well, to be quite honest, I haven't worked anything out yet on acoustic bass yet for something of this nature. I' d like to do something really different..maybe even use a bow. This was also a last minute show so I wouldn't have had enough time to get it all together in time anyway. But, I assure you...one day you may see us all in action playing acoustic renditions of your fave Iron Maiden tunes.
