Cheeeeeeesy solo...

Holy shit dude, nicely done, but there's a lick in there that despite being a very sorta "traditional" bluesy-solo'ing lick still sounds EXACTLY like a lick in a Pain of Salvation solo - compare 0:09 in your vid with 1:35 in vid below

Hardly a unique enough lick to be called derivative or anything, it just threw me off because I knew I recognized the lick from somewhere (but couldn't immediately put my finger on it) and thought you might be playing a cover  Anyway, great job otherwise man, especially with your vibrato! (and the pooch is very inquisitive :D), though I must admit I don't feel like the clean progression works that well for a solo (just finding a bit hard to find a key)

Thanks man, I can't hear it though when listening to the different vids. But I might be influeced by that record since it's still one of my fave pain of salvation records.

Nice work!

Cool dog, too. I was laughing about how he was sitting there watching you play.

Nice solo dude! And is that a bull terrier? I love those dogs.

A bit OT, but how do you like that particular Ibanez? I'd rather not have the Slipknot brand on it (although that one is only on the truss cover, right?) but it's the closest Ibanez to the specs that I want.

I was thinking about getting that ibanez...but I dont like the non-inlays. AND I'm more of an ebony fret board kind of guy. But I do love the binding on the neck and body. :)

sorry for turning this thread into GAS...
