You just got me laughing pretty hard in my chair here remembering that guy. You paint a pretty accurate picture.
LOL... see, that's the funny thing about musicians... if *I* were to walk around kissing women at ProgPower, people would go, "What a weird guy." Also, I'm pretty sure I'd have a permanent handprint on my face.
Did anyone else happen to notice Sideshow Bob? He would have been an exact duplicate if he was a cartoon!!!
CHEERS
- To the bands and the fans for perservering through the technical problems, which no one seems to want to address. Could have been more disasterous,
- Too many technical problems... I'm sorry, but guitars and keyboards going out... mics barely inaudible or not working at all. Bad mixes. I can think of maybe 2 bands that had no issues. This problem was perhaps at it's worst during the jam, with inaudible or completely dead mics, kind of defeated the whole purpose OF the jam. It just got real old by late Sat night.
Since alot of people had complaints about the bartenders, I have a quick question...Did any of you use a credit card, write the tip in, and when you checked your transactions in your bank account the total wasn't the same? I bought two double drinks plus tip was $31 and the transaction on my bank statement says $44...I think one of the bartenders put their own tip on my receipt. Did anyone else have this problem? That'll be the last time i ever use my credit card at Center Stage.
No, I mean DIGITAL cameras. Tons of them were in use. I don't mean cell phone cameras, I mean regular small digital cameras.
Point and shoot = non SLR camera. Very common, cheap digital cameras.
Heck, people told me that they brought in backpacks and no one inspected them. Again, why have a policy that's not enforced.

This will be addressed next year to the best of my ability. Digital cameras were allowed for my VIPs and bands. My resources are limited and I cannot catch every single person that attempts to sneak something by me. As much as I would love to concentrate just on this issue, other things are a priority.
How can you keep an eye on them when you're always telling me I don't drink enough? Mainly, because I'm not keeping up with you.
-Mom and Dad. I seriously have the BEST parents ever. Ever ever. Thanks for all your help this weekend and always taking care of your baby girls. It was fun people watching together too and Daddy, I'll try to get better at throwing the "help me he's bothering me" VS. "SCRAM - I like him" looks Do yourself a favor next year and meet my parents. They are THE best!

Big cheers to Glenn, Shane, all of the staff and bands involved in the festival. Every single year you guys do an outstanding job. I've been going to PP since PP3 and will keep on doing the same exact thing every fucking year!! Good job once again!
