Does anyone know anything about the San Diego venue and the area around it? Are there any clean, safe and descent hotels/motels near by? Recommendations of anyone of those would help. Any info is appreciated. What's worth seeing in San Diego, nature or historicaly wise? It'll be my first in San Diego.

It's right by Sea World, so there are a lot of hotels, I think it's mostly a commercial area, I used the Google Map= Find Businesses, and a bunch came up. There's a lot of cool stuff in San Diego, but everything is spread out, a car is a must. Hopefully, the weather is good enough to go to the beach, even in December San Diego can be really nice. Plus, I'm pretty sure you can drink on most of the beaches down there. I'm flying down for that show too, but I'm not going to make the LA show
