Yo, i have a drummer here who is dissatisfied with the china sample in Slate Platinum. It seems as though there is only one cymbal that is sampled in the big china section. do you guys have any suggestions as to where i can get others? hes a little bitch.

Superior Drummer has several China samples.. you need to do some tweeking of course but they have lots to choose from

I didnt like the china sample either but i couldnt be bothered buying new samples or making my own so alls i did was pitch it down by 1 on kontakt and boosted a frequency (i forget which one, but just do a sweep and youll find it) it sounded less washy and jangly and more like a zil oriental.

If he's such an "artiste" and demands such specific sounds maybe he should of came to the studio with a collection of chinas for you to mic up. I'll record some and post them in the next 24 hours to help you out.
